In engineering application, the rapid impact compactor has the advantages of large tamping energy and easy operation. It can effectively tamp the abutment subgrade with large filling thickness, so as to reduce the stratification of the subgrade and improve the operation efficiency. On the other hand, the rapid impact compactor can also effectively improve the compactness of the abutment subgrade. Due to the large tamping energy and small tamping area, the rapid impact compactor can realize the reinforcement of the abutment back and improve the stiffness of the abutment back, so as to reduce the post construction settlement, ensure the construction quality of the road bridge connection, and improve the performance of the expressway. Due to its flexible operation, the rapid impact compactor can tamp the subgrade in relatively narrow areas such as high fill embankment, slope and shoulder, so as to improve the compactness of the overall subgrade.
Layout of operation points
The operation points are arranged in a gap type, with a certain distance between the edges of the compaction points. The points are arranged in an equilateral triangle, and the center distance between the two adjacent compaction points is about 1.5m (the distance between the edges of each hammer is 0.5m). The width of compaction range of abutment back is the full width of subgrade.
Operation method of high-speed compactor
Adopt the straight-line single point operation method. After tamping one tamping point, the tamping machine moves backward or forward in a straight line to another tamping point for tamping.
Number of tamping hammers
Before the operation of the rapid impact compactor, more than three points should be selected for trial compaction, and each point should be compacted by accumulating 3 hammers each time. In order not to damage the abutment structure, in theory, the edge of the structure is 50cm without tamping. The first row of tamping points on the edge of the structure is tamped with two gears, and other tamping points are tamped with three gears. During the tamping process, the number of working hammers of the rapid impact compactor is accumulated by three hammers. Then we tested the settlement and compaction of the subgrade behind the abutment after three hammers, six hammers, nine hammers, twelve hammers and fifteen hammers. Therefore, the number of blows can be reasonably selected according to the test, and the tamping machine construction technology suitable for engineering construction can be put forward.
Filling thickness
The height of the abutment is 4m, and it is filled in layers with the thickness of each layer of 2m, which is convenient for compactness detection and good compaction effect.
